TITLE: IT Vendor Management Specialist
LOCATION: Denver, CO – Onsite

OVERVIEW
The primary role of the IT Vendor Management Specialist is to provide assistance and support to the 70+ common-use stations by establishing relationships with the common-use providers. The responsibilities of the IT Vendor Management Specialist include but are not limited to, the setup of new common-use stations, management of application upgrades, and application certifications and testing. The role of the IT Vendor Management Specialist will be to support a variety of computer and operating systems, PC hardware and software installation, and address complex Common use platform issues.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Work with external vendors and partner support as necessary to accomplish department and/or business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, including authority for repairs after final installation.
- A strong discipline in working within a standardized ticketing system and documenting work tickets fully is a must in this position.
- Document differences with the current application for upgrades.
- Connectivity documents, work on plans for current and future Navitaire connectivity.
- Document differences with connectivity from current common use and new upgrade connectivity.
- Provide the team with .NET framework requirements, Java, and data center requirements.
- Work with IT security team with firewall changes and the whitelisting of IP addressing.
- Provide network team with new addressing and NAT Pool addressing.
- Help networking team with testing new IP addressing.
- Provide and document the certification process with all Common-Use providers.
- Open work orders for all deployments.
- Schedule a hard-cutover plan for stations converting to common use or when upgrading applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ years of experience in vendor coordination.
- Experience supporting MS Windows.
- Citrix experience preferred.
- Troubleshooting knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.
- High aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Experience with an incident management tracking system.
- Ability to facilitate a climate of cohesiveness, cooperation, and teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to new, different, or changing situations.
- Ability to schedule activities and set priorities so deadlines are met, and accomplish goals.
- IT professional, build, test, install, repair, and maintain hardware and software within organizations.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
