Trade Marketing Specialist

Our team is fast-paced, fun-loving and fanatical about our delicious product and we're looking for a Trade Marketing Specialist who is eager, super engaged and hands-on. This role will require you to enable brand programming in the field. You'll do this by working with creative partners and sales team members to ensure in-store collateral, point of sale materials and field marketing are compelling and timely. We seek a candidate who is thoughtful, curious and cares deeply about creating quality work on time and on budget. The goal is to establish our trade marketing practice as a center of excellence.
The ideal candidate is excited by the challenge of breaking through the clutter and competition in the retail environment, pushing our brand's message and products through the retailer (or distributor) to the shopper - across all channels and retail partners.
You will partner closely with members of the sales and marketing teams to deliver executions that excite our customers and distribution partners. You will assist in vetting vendors and tools to add to our trade marketing capabilities, and in creating systems to support our growth.
What You'll Do
- Build positive and collaborative relationships cross-departmentally, serving as first point of contact for trade, with the sales team
- Coordinate the development of selling materials for Spindrift Sparkling and Spiked by working with sales, marketing and external partners. Examples of materials include, but are not limited to:
- Sell-in tools and presentations across all channels
- Branded swag, merchandise and couponing programs (print and digital)
- Support trade show activation and manage sampling event opportunities
- Oversee internal fulfillment center for branded swag, merchandise and printed coupons
- Support, and at times lead, digital shopper and in-store marketing opportunities
- Monitor the retail landscape for best practices, make recommendations for improvement and implement as approved
- Assist with marketing promotion analysis, summarizing key learnings and recommendations
Who You Are
- You have 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience. Beverage experience, non-alc and/or alcohol is a plus
- You are the hard working, bias for action, roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-projects-done type
- You have an entrepreneurial attitude that enjoys building the foundations for success
- You have rock-solid communication and presentation building skills - along with the ability to communicate and recap succinctly
- You have proficiency with business applications - MS Office, Zoom, experience with Asana is a plus
- You have strong project management skills
- You are detail oriented
- You have an overachiever yet no-task-is-too-small mentality
- You are collaborative, solution-oriented, and have a grace under fire mentality
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing is preferred, but not required
The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $63,000 and is dependent upon the candidate's experience prior to joining Spindrift. In addition, we offer the following compensation and benefits:
- Short-term and long-term incentive programs specific to level and department
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, with a current employer contribution rate of 80% towards monthly premiums, regardless of plan type selected
