This position pays $60-$85k+/yr + bonus

Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or project management, with 3-5 years of leadership experience in managing a team. (ideally a remote team)
  • Knowledge of the printing industry, including e-commerce fulfillment and Shopify operations.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Effective decision-maker and problem solver with a systems-based thinking approach.
  • Background in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, driving process improvements and efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with vendors and clients.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating potential issues and implementing preventive measures.
  • Ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop effective solutions.
  • Autonomous decision-making skills when faced with sophisticated issues during project life cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Printing, Dropshipping Ecommerce, 3PL, Logistics, Operations, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, shipping fulfillment softwares, inventory management software, Airtable, Slack, MacOS, WindowsOS, Microsoft Office, G-Suite,
  • Mandarin speaking is highly preferred as this position requires direct communication with our offices in Taiwan and China.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Manage the day-to-day operations, being the go-to person for problem-solving and decision-making across all departments, including account management, logistics, sourcing, marketing, and planning.
  • Implement new systems and procedures based on past experiences and industry best practices, driving continuous quality improvements.
  • Oversee and manage our remote team, ensuring effective communication and coordination to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and improve processes, utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers overseas, ensuring efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting communication and knowledge-sharing among project teams.
  • Identify dependencies and potential conflicts between projects within the program and manage them proactively.
  • Conduct regular program reviews to evaluate performance, recover lost projects, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
  • Develop and maintain program process documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.
