About the Role:

The Senior IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee IT infrastructure, including network services, cloud environments and data center facilities. This hands-on leadership role involves managing a diverse team of IT professionals, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in IT management, with expertise in Cisco technologies, Forescout NAC, Big IP F5, Solarwinds, and Palo Alto Firewalls.


Responsibilities:

  • Network Services Management:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Manage network security appliances and services, including Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 LTM load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability, implementing necessary improvements or upgrades.
  • Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards.


  • Cloud Services Management:
  • Lead the strategy, deployment, and management of cloud services, AWS and Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
  • Implement cloud security and compliance controls, with a focus on cost optimization and performance tuning.


  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to a team of network engineers, system administrators, and cloud specialists.
  • Build a high-performance culture by setting clear objectives, defining expectations, and holding team members accountable for results.
  • Identify and address team skill gaps, and proactively plan for succession and resource needs to meet evolving business demands.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, open communication, and continuous improvement, motivating the team to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.


  • Project Management:
  • Plan, manage, and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for IT infrastructure initiatives.


  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure all IT infrastructure components comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security controls.
  • Oversee the implementation of firewall policies and rules enterprise wide.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including at least 5 years in a hands-on leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years comprehensive knowledge & technical experience of cloud systems (preferably AWS), deployment business systems, server technology, storage systems, information security and/or related data center technologies.
  • Proven hands-on experience with the following technologies and practices:
  • Cisco Technologies: Routers, switches, firewalls, and network security solutions.
  • Forescout: Network Access Control.
  • F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager): Load balancing and traffic management.
  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Next-generation firewall administration, including threat management and VPN configuration.
  • Performance Management: Enterprise performance monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics.
  • Data Center Facilities: Designing, implementing and operating.
  • Forward Looking: Looking for opportunities to innovate and automate.


  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and experience managing hybrid environments.
  • Previous experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar ticket tracking and documentation system.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data center management, including disaster recovery, backup solutions, and business continuity planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in ITIL practices, network and system security, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy.


Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications preferred. CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VMware VCP, Nutanix Certified Professional, F5 Certified, Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, AWS.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell for infrastructure automation and management.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure and cloud services.


Pay range and compensation package:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
