We are seeking highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer within our cybersecurity team, which focuses on threat intelligence and defence engineering. The main function of a Software Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancements of existing systems. The main function of a Program Manager is to gather requirements, analyse data to identify improvement opportunities within our service, secure buy-in for improvements, and leverage project management skills to drive solutions to completion. Our team operates the Security & Information Event Management (SIEM) platform, which includes network security monitoring, detection analytics with enrichment, and threat intelligence services.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the service Threat Insider Defence Engineering provides and our customer’s needs.
  • Analyse data available to identify service improvements (and identify gaps in data that would be helpful going forward)
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to illustrate findings and influence priority decisions for changes to be adopted.
  • Identify solutions to address the improvements identified and drive solutions to closure.
  • Showcase customer obsession
  • Working in an agile framework with sprints, design discussions.
  • Testing the quality and functionality of the code and the tool
  • Communication of status reports, issues, risks, escalations, help needed


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
  • Bachelor's in computer science or similar field. Interested in candidates who have cyber security CISSP or cyber security certificate – to highlight a cyber security mindset/background
  • The ideal resume would contain someone who has done both cyber security and network. A good developer and communicator – pro-active nature to keep stakeholders informed and ability to look ahead and remove roadblocks without necessarily always asking for help.


Must Have Skills:

  • Network Security Experience (8+ YOE)
  • Experience with Cyber Security Operations (or providing support to) (8+ YOE)
  • Languages such as C sharp, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Python with Synapse (8+ YOE) examples, AzureDevOps, KQL, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
