The Role:

Working in tandem with our Vice President of Operations to grow and deliver sound solutions for our customers. The role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand our market brand presence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales leadership within the construction industry, along with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire and coach the extended team to ensure the continual growth of the business.
  • Coach the greater team on the importance of delivering results, driving project completions and overall accountability in their role.
  • Leading the team with a strong outlook whilst displaying the qualities they should aspire to possess.
  • Create a disciplined work environment and commit to an aligned and constant course of action.
  • Create, plan, and implement a strategic direction for the wider business. In conjunction with the State Operations Manager communicate, lead, and inspire your direct management and the wider team in your vision.
  • Identify, and lead change in the development of solutions to re-occurring issues, processes or resources.
  • Identify key individuals with JLG Values and inspire/ train them to develop and grow within the business.
  • Develop an integrated team of resources, both external and internal that accelerates the best outcome of jobs, including sourcing, selection and positive management of Subcontractors who align with JLG values and are cost-effective.
  • Build and maintain a technically capable, customer-centric and results-orientated team.
  • Ensure overall training requirements such as sales meetings, client meetings, and debrief sessions are held, attended and understood by all required staff.
  • Foster an intimate understanding of the business aspects including Client Relationships, P&L, Overheads Expenditure, Billable
  • Utilisation, Cash Flow Management, etc


Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
