LHH has partnered with a long time client in search of a Sourcing Analyst in the Lake Stevens area. The company is rapidly growing and has an outstanding reputation in customer service.


What you will do:

  • Analyzing and improving supply chain operations.
  • Resolving day-to-day supply chain issues and promoting operational consistency.
  • Evaluating procurement metrics by measuring supplier performance.
  • Identifying project scopes, schedules, and costs.
  • Establishing effective communication channels with customers, vendors, suppliers, and shipping companies.
  • Negotiating better contracts with existing suppliers as well as sourcing new suppliers.
  • Establishing risk management plans relating to procurement, logistics, and staffing.
  • Projecting industry trends to implement appropriate responses and contingency measures.
  • Reporting on competitive intelligence, as well as market and consumer trends.
  • Ensuring compliance and customer service needs are met.


What you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a sourcing role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing.
  • Strong supplier management skills.
  • Ability to understand how to negotiate and write contracts with suppliers.
  • Inventory management skills.
