Our client is seeking a Director of Fiber Manufacturing to join their team in Fair Lawn, NJ. In this role, you will be pivotal in steering paper manufacturing operations, focusing on safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance. You'll drive productivity, manage KPIs, and oversee P&L responsibilities. Collaboration is key as you work with manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and distribution teams to meet delivery commitments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage capital projects, ensuring they are completed on-time and within budget.
  • Understand and address internal customer needs and KPIs, including working with Purchasing on residual shipments and discrepancies.
  • Inspire and motivate your team while fostering their technical and leadership growth.
  • Explore and implement new systems to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in fiber operations, with 5 years in fiber and de-inking.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • Proven management and leadership abilities.
  • Strong skills in team development, both technical and interpersonal.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to understand and contribute to the broader business and strategic goals.
