About the Role:

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities for Electronics Field Installation Manager



  • Act as field install project manager keeping projects on time and under budget
  • Prepare for and communicate material and labor needs for projects
  • Perform and contribute to all physical aspects of installation process
  • Employee training and development


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage low-voltage security installations (Access Control, IP Video / CCTV / Video Surveillance, Burglar / Security Alarm Systems, Intercoms, etc.)
  • Willingness to perform and contribute to all physical aspects of the installation process (planning, wiring, devicing, programming, testing, training, troubleshooting, etc)
  • Accountable for installation efficiency and clear communication with proper individuals regarding all installs including labor and materials
  • Able to communicate clearly with internal and external customers, ensuring all projects are completed smoothly from initial site survey to project completion and customer training
  • Train for and obtain manufacturer certifications for product offerings as necessary
  • Timely and accurately update and complete work orders via OMS (operations software) process flow
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Work with other members of the Electronic Solutions Team to develop and train new team members


Qualifications:

Thorough understanding of Access Control, IP Video/CCTV/Video Surveillance, Burglar/Security Alarm, Intercom and other security related low-voltage systems



Proficiency with IP/LAN processes

Enjoys hands on work and has a strong mechanical aptitude

Good problem solving and logic skills

Excellent Communication skills

Ability to lift/maneuver 80+ lbs.

Comfortable working autonomously and/or part of a team

Ability to pass background check, drug test, and DMV record check

High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred Skills:

3+ years previous security and/or low-voltage install experience

5+ years previous work experience

Previous demonstrated experience leading project installation
