Microsoft Entra Architect

Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)



Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra Architect to join our Digital Identity Group. This position is initially a 6-month contract with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. As a Microsoft Entitlements Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions within Microsoft's ecosystem, focusing on Azure, Decentralized Identity, Purview, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.
  • Design, architect, and implement Microsoft Azure-based solutions for identity and access management, including Decentralized Identity and entitlements management.
  • Configure and deploy Azure Active Directory (AAD) features, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Azure AD Connect.
  • Implement and integrate Decentralized Identity solutions, ensuring secure and efficient management of digital identities.
  • Utilize Azure Purview for data governance and regulatory compliance in identity management solutions.
  • Implement and configure Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Azure AD and other relevant technologies.
  • Enhance security posture through the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions across enterprise applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Microsoft Entitlements solutions.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8 years) working as a Microsoft Entitlements Architect, Engineer, or similar role, with expertise in Azure-based identity and access management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Decentralized Identity concepts, principles, and implementation strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, Azure Purview, and Azure Security Center.
  • Experience in configuring and integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions with enterprise applications and systems.
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
  • Knowledge of identity governance and regulatory compliance requirements in the context of Azure-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are desirable.
