Job Description: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Architect

Position Title: ERP Architect

Location: Nashville Area (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Schedule:

  • In-Office: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
  • Remote: Monday/Friday
  • Employment Type: Consultant Grade
  • Salary Range: Approximately $180,000 annually
  • Reports To: C-Suite Executives & Senior Leadership Team

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ERP Architect with a strong background in financial operations and IT architecture. The ideal candidate will have over 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, a CPA certification, and advanced degrees in Accounting/Finance or an MBA. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics (or NetSuite), collaborate with C-suite executives, and develop process flows and diagrams for a multi-year internal project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Implementation: Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite, ensuring alignment with the companys financial operations and objectives.
  • C-Suite Interaction: Regularly interact with C-suite executives and senior management, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a 3rd party team of consultants, providing guidance on platform use and development processes.
  • Process Development: Develop and document process flows and diagrams to streamline financial operations and ensure efficient ERP system utilization.
  • Finance Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to ensure that ERP systems support and enhance financial reporting and operations.
  • Consulting Expertise: Serve as an internal consultant, leveraging extensive knowledge in ERP implementation and architecture to drive project success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience in IT and ERP architecture, with a focus on financial operations.
  • ERP Expertise: Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred) or NetSuite.
  • Leadership: Previous experience as a senior consultant with the ability to lead a 3rd party team.
  • Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate IT and Finance, with experience in interacting with finance teams and leading financial operations.
  • Certification: CPA Certified.
  • Education: Masters degree in Accounting/Finance or an MBA.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of ERP systems, process development, and IT architecture.

Preferred:

  • Location: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to the Nashville area.
  • Work Environment: Experience working in a hybrid environment with both in-office and remote workdays.
