Job Overview:

As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing construction project budgets, responding to RFPs, and overseeing awarded projects from bidding to completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and the internal team to ensure successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage construction project budgets.
  • Respond to client-designed RFPs.
  • Oversee all aspects of awarded projects, including budgeting, contracts, change orders, and OAC meetings.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients and subcontractors.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Read and understand blueprints to bid on projects.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with the construction team.
  • Maintain organized and updated job files.
  • Oversee day-to-day project management.
  • Review design drawings and track project changes.
  • Ensure subcontractor workmanship meets project scope and standards.
  • Qualify subcontractor bids and develop project schedules.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Biotech/Life Science construction experience preferred.
  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Experience with field management software is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and OSHA requirements.
