Position Overview:

The Paralegal will support our Principals and Associates in handling litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters. This role requires a high level of organization, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (one-hour lunch break).


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain case files and documentation.
  • Track case progress, docket deadlines, and manage scheduling.
  • Obtain, analyze, and summarize medical records.
  • Prepare materials for depositions, exhibits, and trial binders.
  • Communicate with firm personnel, clients, outside counsel, and court officials.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to track case information.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of paralegal experience in Commercial Litigation is required. Experience in family law is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in document management technology. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Attributes: Self-starter with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy practice environment.
