The Marketing & Meeting Event Coordinator is responsible for creating marketing materials for all platforms and planning and coordinating all aspects of Mitaka attending regional and national medical conferences/courses. You will be responsible for creating new brochures, flyers and creative marketing strategies and tactics. You will be responsible for every part of event preparations. You will assist with all planning aspects and evaluating success afterward. Prior experience in marketing and event coordinating is preferred.


Duties


Content Creation and General Strategy:

  • Create both digital and print marketing materials (brochures, flyers, catalogs, etc.)
  • Create new swag designs
  • Strategize and implement marketing tactics for Mitaka USA


Surgical Congress and Course Marketing:

  • Manage event set-up and follow-up processes.
  • Collaborate with several departments within the company to ensure timelines are met for deliverables across teams.
  • Keep inventory of display materials and supplies.
  • Order and organize materials including promotional materials for events.
  • Create and maintain a master calendar of timelines and events, including logistical information.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support, and pre- and post-event evaluations.
  • Work closely with vendors and contractors to plan and execute a successful professional experience
  • Manage all aspects of the event planning process, including collaboration with subcontractors, venue identification, menu development, printing and design of materials and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate scheduling of facilitators and logistic
  • Collaborate and coordinate with event partners, sponsors, and speakers to fulfill sponsorship packages and responsibilities.
  • Organize leads from meetings
  • Create/organize system that tracks if a sale came from a lead at a meeting/course/lab

  • High competency in Adobe programs, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. 
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of design capabilities.

  • develops realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability
  • defines realistic, specific goals and objectives; prioritizes objectives.



Who We Are:

  • Mitaka USA is a national medical device sole-source distributorship. Mitaka USA is made up of twelve direct employees and over 100 independent-manufacturer-representatives (IMRs) across the country. Currently, only five employees work out of our Colorado office in Wheat Ridge primarily handling operational matters.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $60k - $120k annual salary
  • We do not currently provide health insurance
  • Work can be done partially remote but employee will be expected to come in to Wheat Ridge office for hands on training/learning and collaboration with current operations employees.


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
  • Occasional travel attending surgical congresses 


Education:

  • Bachelors (minimum)


Experience:

  • Marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
