Safety Management Coordinator
Location: Liberty, NC 27298 – 100% onsite
Duration: 20+ months contract
Responsibilities:
- Work with contractors to implement construction safety management system and other safety requirements on client's construction sites.
- Provide safety leadership for new construction including mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
- Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical and electrical equipment installation.
- Review contractor Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to confirm completeness and accuracy of work being performed.
Required Qualifications:
- The level of experience expected is between 5 to 10 years.
- Safety engineering degree is not required but considered a plus.
- OSHA 30 and OSHA 510.
- Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades.
- Experience with various parts of construction: site/civil work, structural steel, electrical and mechanical.
- Experience reviewing and verifying JSAs developed by contractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint and Excel.
- Bluebeam / Autodesk build experience.
- Greenfield site experience.
- Experience working on multiple projects on same site.
