A JD Edwards (IT) Developer is responsible for working with the IT team and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support JD Edwards solutions for Homebuilder applications. They assist in defining business requirements, designing the system, and configuring to meet company needs and purposes. They also help with testing the system, preparing for launch, and providing ongoing support.


Responsibilities:

  • As a JD Edwards Homebuilder Developer, you will use your in-depth knowledge of the applications and Homebuilder industry best practices to consult with business stakeholders and provide effective solutions to solve business issues.
  • Collaborate with project team in developing, testing, and implementing JD Edwards Homebuilder solutions.
  • Review and refine customer requirements, document and present to the business for approval.
  • Analyze current system settings and data to identify opportunities for enhancements and modifications.
  • Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client for UAT of system enhancements and custom solutions.
  • Assist and participate in CRP and UAT testing.
  • Object preparation, go-live and post-production support.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in JD Edwards development.
  • Experience in JD Edwards Homebuilder is helpful.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with internal and external customers.
  • Produce end-user and technical documentation.
  • Proficient with MS Office and MS SQL.
