We’re reimagining fiber optic manufacturing for the AI era. Manufacturing is no longer just an operations challenge, but an automation and speed-to-market problem that customers urgently need solved. In less than 5 years, we’ve grown to a team of over 150, and have added top cloud service providers to our growing customer base. We have only just gotten started -- our ambition is to become the market leader of the $100+ BN connectivity industry.

Our core values drive everything we do:

  1. Fearless Innovation
  2. Forward Together
  3. Integrity Over Everything
  4. Nimble, Always
  5. Be the Bar

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure the timely delivery of fiber optic products in a manufacturing environment. This role involves detailed planning of production activities, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and production capacity. The Planner must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities under tight deadlines. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage resources, mitigate risks, and resolve any production issues that may arise, ensuring uninterrupted workflow and adherence to quality standards.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure materials, equipment, and labor are available and properly allocated to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production progress daily, identifying potential bottlenecks or delays, and proactively implementing corrective actions to keep production on track.
  • Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure that all production meets or exceeds industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to balance production needs with cost efficiency.
  • Communicate schedule updates, production priorities, and potential issues to relevant departments.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, driving continuous process improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production status, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans for potential disruptions, such as equipment failures, supply chain delays, or unexpected demand spikes.
  • Support the introduction of new products or processes by coordinating trial runs, resource allocation, and production timelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in planning software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making abilities
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
