A Construction Supervisor is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Evansville, IN area. The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing equipment installation and modification projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.


Key requirements include experience with project management, and working with various types of equipment such as conveyors, HVAC systems, and robotic machines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage subcontractors and inspection agencies are essential. This is a contract role slated to last 12+ months, with significant OT potential. Our client strongly desires local candidates and may consider a monthly living stipend for qualified regional candidates.



Responsibilities

  • Oversee equipment installation and modification projects from scope creation to contract completion
  • Negotiate initial contracts and any necessary field orders with installation contractors
  • Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and inspection agencies to ensure project success
  • Coordinate activities across multiple organizations, including machine vendors and management teams
  • Administer construction contracts and conduct onsite inspections for plan compliance
  • Report project status to management, including safety, schedule, and budget updates
