Responsibilities


  • Support Wealth Advisor team in delivering exceptional service to clients.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investment performance reports and other standard reports.
  • Coordinate all aspects of direct client service, including fund transfers, charitable contributions, gifting, and cash management.
  • Maintain multi-year income tax projections. Calculate and coordinate required quarterly payments.
  • Prepare and review client tax returns and income tax projections (primarily 1040s, 1065s, 1041s, and 709s).
  • Communicate with clients as needed and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Work to develop the essential communication, technical, and social skills to support the client relationships.


Qualifications & Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree
  • CPA license, or working towards obtaining CPA license
  • 3-5 years experience in a family office or public accounting
  • Experience with the following technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning Software, CCH Prosystem fx Tax, Bloomberg Income Tax Planner (“BNA”)
  • Developed knowledge of tax planning and preparation for UHNW individuals and families.
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning, investment analysis, and client relationship management.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.


U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment. Employers can only use E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
