About the Role

Burlington is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Closing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless closing process, supporting the store leadership team, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Store Leadership Team: Work closely with the store leadership team to ensure a smooth closing process, including completing closing communication for the opening Manager on Duty.
  • Complete Closing Tasks: Follow up on assigned workload planner and tasks, and ensure their completion to maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
  • Associate Support: Touch base with each associate to establish priorities and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
  • Front-End Experience: Monitor the front-end experience to ensure a positive and engaging customer experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the store leadership team and associates.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a retail environment, with a focus on closing operations and team management.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail operations, including closing procedures, inventory management, and customer service.
