The Benefits Wellness Coordinator will assist with the benefit administration and wellness initiatives by helping employees lead healthier lives


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Audit new hires data entry to ensure home code, worker’s comp code and benefit class is correct.
  • Process deductions, 401k, 401k loans and Gap Insurance.
  • Provide benefit reports as requested.
  • Ensures ACA compliance to include auditing 1095’s.
  • Follow up on missed deductions from employees.
  • Prepare benefit enrollment guides.
  • Conduct benefit orientation.
  • Answer employee questions about their benefits
  • Assist employees with resolving benefit issues
  • Assist with annual open enrollment.
  • Assist with annual 401k audit.
  • Develop wellness programs that focus on physical, mental and financial health
  • Plan and coordinate activities such as health screenings, health fairs, nutrition and exercise programs
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of health and wellness
  • Manage additional projects that advance the HR department’s strategic goals


Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience
  • Possess a basic understanding of federal wage and hour laws with multiple states preferred.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and excellent judgment in successfully navigating sensitive issues.
