Network Engineer IV (RAN /CBRS)- Philadelphia-PA



We are seeking a Network Engineer to support Transport activities within 5G Wireless Deployment and Planning organization. This role is integral to advancing the CBRS 5G process and systems, driving operational efficiency across various sites, markets, and regions

.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless networking, with expertise in Samsung or other major OEM networks being a significant advantage. This position involves working with Macro and Small Cell (ROW pole and Strand) technology in a hands-on capacity


.
Key Responsibilitie

  • s:Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Samsung and other major OEM network operating system
  • s.Provide advanced network troubleshooting for diverse 5G site solution
  • s.Understand and support RAN technologies and associated system
  • s.Coordinate and execute the technical and engineering aspects of assigned project
  • s.Conduct technical deep dives and participate in peer reviews of design decisions to ensure best-in-class solution
  • s.Document project scope, Methods of Procedure (MOP), requirements, assumptions, and general information using standard template
  • s.Engage and collaborate with impacted teams (e.g., deployment, server placements, network connectivity, procurement, optimization
  • ).Stay actively involved at every project stage through deployment and integratio
  • n.Debug code, resolve bugs, and support integrated modules during the engineering and integration phase
  • s.Perform system administration tasks on Linux systems, including scripting and package management (rpm, apt-get, yum


).
Required Skills and Qualificatio

  • ns:Expertise in Cisco, Arista, and Juniper technologi
  • es.Strong experience with 5G wireless network engineering, particularly with CBRS syste
  • ms.Proven ability to troubleshoot Samsung and other major OEM network syste
  • ms.Hands-on experience with Macro and Small Cell technologies (ROW pole and Stran
  • d).Proficiency in system administration of Linux systems and scripti
  • ng.Excellent documentation and organizational skills, including the use of standard project templat
  • es.Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities, especially in complex scenari
