Overview:

Pelican Power Management Company is responsible for multiple power generation assets located north and west of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are currently hiring for an Operational Technology Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and updating the network and server infrastructure for the organization's plant control and support systems. This role ensures that all OT network devices, servers, and workstations are up-to-date, secure, and compliant with required security standards.


Primary Responsibilities:

·        Plan, implement, maintain, and update the network and server infrastructure for plant control and support

systems.

·        Ensure that all OT network devices are current and that operating systems are updated.

·        Keep OT servers and workstations current with security patches for operating systems and other software.

·        Restrict firewall rules to allow access only to secure networks on required ports.

·        Conduct at least annual cyber vulnerability assessments (CVA) to assess the security posture of the OT

infrastructure.

·        Manage OT infrastructure for a single plant or across all the organization's plants.



Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

·        Highly prefer certification in OT security, such as GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443

·        3-5 years of experience managing and administering operational technology systems.

·        Strong understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA, and other OT technologies.

·        Proficient in network management, server administration, and cybersecurity best practices.

·        Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing security measures.

·        Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·        Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

·        Experience managing OT infrastructure across multiple locations is highly preferred.
