Oracle Application Administrator

Growing company in Nashville is in need of an Oracle Application Administrator to join their team.


Responsibilities include

  • Installation & Configuration with WebLogic 12c, Oracle Customer to Meter (C2M), Work Asset and Management (WAM) and Oracle SOA Suite 12c applications
  • Administration, maintenance, patching and upgrades
  • Create, maintain, and improve existing automation shell and python scripts
  • Investigate and drive resolution of application and server issues with C2M, WAM, SOA, OAS applications
  • Performance Tuning, Support and monitor Oracle environments from Development to Production
  • Backup and Recovery. Implement and maintain backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans
  • Work closely with development, database, and network teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
  • Able to generalize skills and experience to meet a wide variety of challenges
  • Conduct discovery of use cases and documentation of acceptance criteria
  • Help to manage the customer relationship: setting and meeting expectations, handling scope creep, and otherwise maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the peer-review process
  • Proactively identify and recommend improved approaches and designs for systems
  • Identify new opportunities for system efficiency

Minimum Experience/Educational Requirement

  • 3+ years of Information Technology experience WebLogic Administration experience
  • Unix and SHELL, PERL scripting experience
  • Strong Oracle Database/Query Skills
  • Software Development Life cycle experience
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and interact with leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 8. Solid interpersonal skills, good work ethic, self-starter
