Responsibilities
  • As a subject matter expert, you will provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business.
  • Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations, demonstrations, and benchmarks.
  • Provision of support throughout the sell.
  • Act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants.
  • Perform needs gathering and requirement analysis for existing customers.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality value-based Oracle presentations and demonstrations.
  • Articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall Oracle solutions to all levels.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Retail, Software, Services, Construction, etc.
  • BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition and industry billing requirements.
  • Experience supporting the sales cycle in CRM and or ERP applications for software organizations preferred.
  • Prior experience in sales, sales consulting, or software consulting is optimal but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multi-user operating system or ERP's.
  • Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired: Oracle e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Epicor/Aptos, SAP, Quickbooks, Best Software-MAS Series, Sales Logix, Siebel or Salesforce.com.
  • Interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Thorough knowledge of systems and their benefits are helpful.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
