Our client an Asset Manager is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their team. This is a great position for someone looking to grow their career.
Job description: The Operations Analyst will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for assisting the Operations team with all aspects of deal level reporting, accounting, and servicing of transactions originated by the client.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
Aggregating expenses across transactions; identifying allocations to specific borrowers, lenders, or fund level expenses for the purpose of netting against the waterfall, retaining audit trail and creating a deal specific borrower expense log;
Monitoring outward expense letters sent to clients
Responsibility for loading and monitoring expense invoices through internal payment processing systems;
Maintaining and updating internal databases to ensure accurate reporting is being received on each transaction;
Perform oversight for deals where the client is servicer:
Provide analytical QC review of quantitative work; waterfall calculations, borrowing base calculations and expense reports;
Provide analytical QC review of all due diligence;
Log receipt of appropriate deliverables from borrowers after client has verified accuracy/completeness; and
Distribute relevant deliverables to lenders for which client serves as Lender Representative (or similar capacity);
Experience: recent graduate from college (no more than 1-2 years out), BA or BS, with major or concentration in finance, government or law.
Preferable business school student.
Internship experience in finance and/or law.
Proficiency with word, excel, outlook. Strong written and verbal skills.
$75-$100K Base, plus bonus and fully paid benefits, 401K
