Follow configuration control processes defined for the project; Follow continuous integration, build and deployment processes defined for the project; Follow documented software engineering processes and best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all deliverables; Conduct daily standup meeting, sprint planning meeting, mid-sprint meeting, sprint retrospective meeting and technical envisioning meeting to adhere to the Agile In Large (AIL) principles followed by the company; Conduct feature demos involving Client stakeholders every two weeks to showcase incremental feature delivery as committed; Responsible for managing support incidents through quick thinking, technical troubleshooting skills, domain knowledge, quality, and people skills in a high-pressure environment to keep business critical systems up and running with the least disruption; and Resolve customer support incidents, while dealing with multiple variables, time and resource constraints. The position permits telecommuting and hybrid schedule can be availed with supervisor approval with a minimum of three days a week in office.
Position Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology, software engineering, electronics and communication engineering or related disciplines from an accredited university and 4 years of experience in Software Analysis, Design, Development, Documentation, Testing and Roll out in an IT or engineering role. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in computer science, information technology, software engineering, electronics and communication engineering, or related disciplines from an accredited university and 1 year of experience in Software Analysis, Design, Development, Documentation, Testing and Roll out in an IT or engineering role. Additionally, a qualified applicant’s experience must include the following skills: (1) This position requires 4 years of experience in the Java Specifications Java 8 & J2EE, Frameworks Spring Boot, Spring, and Hibernate for coding software modules, technical troubleshooting, and peer code reviews; (2) The position requirement mandates 4 years of experience in Task and Code management tools such as Jira and Git; (3) This position requires 3 years of experience in deployment tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker to automate the parts of software development related to building, testing, and deploying, facilitating continuous integration, and continuous delivery; (4) This position requires 3 years of experience in Junit and Test NG Testing frameworks to write and execute automated tests; (5) This position requires 4 years expertise in application monitoring tools such as graphite, haystack, datadog and splunk; (6) This position requires 4 years of experience in build frameworks such as maven and gradle to build, publish, and deploy several projects for better project management; (7) The position requirement mandates 3 years of knowledge and practice in Cloud services of Amazon Web Services (AWS) – Amazon Load balancer, Amazon Route 53, Amazon Elastic Container Service, Amazon S3, Amazon Aurora, Amazon ElastiCache, and Amazon Elastic Search; and (8) This position requires 4 years expertise in the travel domain which involves Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Sabre and Amadeus across all points-of-sale.
