National Sales Director

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the National Sales Director will be instrumental in driving and exceeding Footmarks' annual sales targets. Footmarks' SmartTracking solution is tailored to support the world’s largest CPGs, wine, and spirit producers.


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software/technology sales, exceptional relationship development skills, a passion for customer retention and satisfaction, and will thrive in an entrepreneurial, early-stage company environment. Responsibilities include supervising the sales and account management team and building long-term client relationships.


Candidate must be based in the greater Seattle area.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Lead the nationwide sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, suggesting improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Perform research to identify new potential customers and market opportunities.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay updated with new product launches and ensure the sales team is on board.


Requirements and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a National Sales Leader.
  • Experience selling SaaS or Cloud Solutions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
