About DREAM Venture Labs:


DREAM Venture Labs is a Boston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering refugees and immigrants to start and develop successful businesses with the help of student volunteers. Our mission is to provide immigrants with access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities to succeed as entrepreneurs in the U.S. We run several programs focused on supporting immigrant founders through mentorship, legal assistance, workshops, and internship opportunities.


We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Director to oversee our core programs, including the Launch Incubator, Growth Accelerator, and Build Fellowship. This is a part-time role with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on performance and program growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Program Management: Lead and manage the development and execution of key programs, including coordinating events, workshops, and mentorship sessions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with partners, mentors, volunteers, and immigrant founders to ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Director and volunteer teams to align program activities with organizational goals.
  • Curriculum Development: Oversee the design and improvement of program curricula, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of immigrant founders and entrepreneurs.
  • Outreach and Recruitment: Drive the recruitment of immigrant founders and entrepreneurs into the programs, as well as volunteers and mentors from the community.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Track and assess program effectiveness through data collection and feedback from participants, continuously improving program offerings.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, funders, and the internal team through regular reports and updates.
  • Grant and Fund Management: Support fundraising and grant management efforts, ensuring that programs are fully funded and aligned with donor expectations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, nonprofit management, or related field
  • Experience in program management, preferably within a nonprofit or startup environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Passion for supporting immigrant and refugee communities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the Boston startup and nonprofit ecosystem is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (partially remote with some in-person meetings in Boston).


Compensation and Hours:

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. The role has the potential to transition to full-time based on program needs and performance. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
