Our Law Enforcement Client is seeking a Retirement/Benefits Specialist for a long-term contract-to-hire position at their headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time, onsite role (5 days a week). The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise across multiple areas of benefits and HR, including medical, dental, vision, financial planning, and retirement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource for over 4,000 active employees and retirees by providing answers, support, and adjustments to retirement and benefits plans.
  • Administer retirement systems, including 401(k) and 457 plans, as well as financial planning and investment options.
  • Facilitate benefits management, including open enrollment for medical, dental, vision, and other employee benefit programs.
  • Process paperwork, manage reporting, and ensure accurate administration of benefits and retirement services.
  • Handle inquiries and implement updates to employee retirement plans and other benefits.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, retirement systems, and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits, open enrollment, retirement systems, and financial investing.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week.

  • Candidates must pass a comprehensive FBI background check and drug test.
