Senior Network Engineer/Architect

Location: Glendale

Salary: $150K – $185K USD annually, plus annual discretionary bonus

Work Schedule: Hybrid onsite 3x per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

COVID-19 Policy: Daily at-home COVID testing required for onsite work, no vaccination requirement.


Must Have:

  • Enterprise experience supporting 14 complex networks.
  • Network Automation: Python scripting and automation for network deployments.
  • Expertise in:
  • Palo Alto SD WAN
  • Cisco ASA Firewalls
  • Palo Alto physical and Prisma Access firewalls
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Cisco 9300 switches
  • Cisco and/or Palo Alto certifications preferred.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) and Palo Alto Networks certifications preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with AI Ops from Palo Alto for Network Automation.
  • Occasional travel required (3-4 times per year).


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive network architecture and design solutions.
  • Configure and maintain network components to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Architect and implement solutions to enhance network agility and efficiency.
  • Execute hands-on implementation of network solutions and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows for network provisioning.
  • Continuously assess network performance and implement optimization strategies.
  • Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and provide training to team members.
