Product Development Engineer

This role is fully on-site and will support various products across the company. This engineer with apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation as it pertains to products.


Other Responsibilities

  • Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines.
  • Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments.
  • Designs, procures, and fabricates tooling and fixtures.
  • Performs troubleshooting on new products/process problems as related to design, material, or process.
  • Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from test results.
  • Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results to technical community.
  • Responsible for engineering documentation.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 - 5 Years of mechanical, process or product engineering experience
  • Bachelors in engineering.
  • Technical aptitude
  • 1-5 years of experience with statistics (understanding and drawing conclusions from data)
  • Experience with mechanical design.


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Medical device experience
