We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Manager to oversee our organization’s data management activities. The ideal candidate will possess advanced data management skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of managing complex data projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, storage, maintenance, and security of data across the organization. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Data Governance: Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and enterprise data policies.
  • Data Analysis: Lead data analysis initiatives to support business decision-making. Work closely with Program director, data analysts and business intelligence teams to provide insights.
  • Data Integration: Manage the integration of data from various sources. Ensure seamless data flow across systems and applications.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage data-related projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Deloitte partners, and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Technology Management: Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior data management staff. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data management or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance tools). Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, PowerBi, Tableau) is required.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and data integrity.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
