Position Overview:

LIBR seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dynamic program administrator to support our Scientific Director in orchestrating and enhancing our research operations. This pivotal role bridges administrative support, project management, and research facilitation, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking mental health research. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of academic qualifications in health sciences or a related field, experience in a research or clinical setting, and a thorough understanding of project management, data management, and stakeholder engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support to the Scientific Director, managing calendars, correspondence, and project timelines. Maintain bibliographies, CV, and biosketch.
  • Conduct preliminary literature reviews, and stay current on developments in mental health research.
  • Act as a liaison between the research team, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the logistics of conferences, workshops, and seminars, enhancing LIBR’s outreach and impact within the scientific community.
  • Oversee project management aspects of various research endeavors, ensuring milestones are met within timelines and budgets. For Example: facilitate the integration of Embedded Pragmatic Clinical Trials (ePCTs) 

and the strategic use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) data into our research initiatives.

  • Support strategic planning, including the preparation of reports and presentations for board meetings and monitoring progress toward strategic goals.
  • Manage professional social media profiles and public relations efforts to disseminate research findings effectively.
  • Assist with grant management tasks, including drafting budgets, compiling documentation, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.

 

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, psychology, biomedical sciences, public health, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or certifications in clinical research, data management, or project management preferred.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in research, clinical, or academic setting, with a strong preference for backgrounds in mental health.

Proficiency in data management tools and software, with a keen understanding of EHR systems and research databases.

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.

Familiarity with ethical and regulatory guidelines in clinical research, including HIPAA.
