We are looking for dedicated, personable and communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about company products and services and the clients they serve. In this role you will create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. This position requires occasional travel. At ITPN client relationships are our top priority.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all client communications and the efficient completion of client deliverables on key accounts.
  • Develops and maintains a deep understanding of ITPN capabilities and services and effectively communicates all offerings to clients or prospects.
  • Provide regular reporting and feedback on all account activity and progress.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within accounts.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Upbeat and positive personality, highly motivated to succeed, goal oriented and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field.
