Site Construction Administrator


Green Sol provides EPC Services for Power Generation Cliental utilizing a union craft force constructing major EPC power projects throughout North America.

Responsibilities

  • Update all applicable construction services project/program databases and reporting
  • Facilitate effective communication throughout the construction team and all other applicable departments on site and within the company
  • Provide job level information and financial summaries during scheduled Work in Progress Reviews
  • Assign, review, submit, and provide feedback to subcontractors and self-perform field crews on all day to day, weekly, monthly, and customer close out documentation and reporting
  • Assist in the review of close out packages prior to client submission
  • Assist, Assign, and Review purchase order requests for accuracy and track pending Purchase Orders
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and assist with training, travel, and all paperwork
  • Deliver materials and equipment to site when needed
  • Track assets and inventory as needed
  • Assist with permit pickup, closure and inspections
  • Assist and Prepare reports, summaries, proposals, and correspondence to project management, clients, and vendors
  • Assist the Project Team with recurring tasks such as: reviewing purchase orders (POs), billing, change orders and project budgets, job level financial performance, and accounts receivables and collections.
  • Review general ledger and manpower reports
  • Assist the project and construction management team members as needed
  • Assist in office meeting coordination/arrangements
  • Office management and general day to day operations within the Green Sol Project Site Office
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Preferred Qualifications


  • H.S. Diploma/GED Associate's Degree preferred;
  • Preferred to have prior experience in the construction industry, working with building permits and bid packages
  • 1+ years Administrative support or relevant experience with a background in construction and/or engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook (Procore is Highly Prefereable)
  • Domestic Travel 20% of the time and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Strong work ethic; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to act independently with little or no supervision and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to operate a standard personal computer as well as knowledge of and experience with standard office computer software
  • Ability to carry out duties in varying work environments including wide ranging weather conditions and terrain
  • Knowledge of construction safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements is preferred
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License

  • Fast-paced project site and office environment
  • Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively
  • Regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen
  • Occasionally lift and move objects up to 30 pounds
