Location – Pasco, WA (Open to candidates across the Southwest, Pacific Coast, preference for candidate in the PNW)

Travel – YES; Up to 50% (all expenses covered, per diem provided); Would work remotely when not traveling


QUALIFICATIONS

40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.

Familiarity with 49CFR 171 and 40 CFR 265 requirements.

High Level of knowledge with OSHA, DOT and RCRA regulations pertaining to hazardous waste handling and transportation.

Willing to travel between 25-50% of the time inclusive of overnight stays.

Class “B” CLD license with hazardous materials endorsements preferred.

Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Sampling, collection, identification, characterization and packaging of non-hazardous and hazardous waste within customer facilities.
  • Segregation, labeling, manifesting of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.
  • Submit waste profiles within 3rd party online systems.
  • Prepare and print waste manifests and labels within the Terralink system.
  • Transport the waste materials to a Graymar environmental location truck-to-truck.
  • Testing of unknown materials adhering to all regulations and company guidelines.
  • Operation of class “B” vehicle (willingness to obtain) to provide support services and transport waste from customer sites.
  • Supports HHW collection events.
