Pay Rate: $31.25/hour

Start Date: Beginning October

Duration: At least 6 months

Location: Preferred Cary area; remote work available with occasional office presence

Relocation: Moving to Raleigh in October/November

Education:

B.A. preferred, especially in financial or procurement/supply chain field, but not required

1-2 years of experience is acceptable


Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with procurement requests and drafting agreements (legal, security, business)

Familiarity with data privacy questionnaires and using information to complete templates

Ability to create and manage purchase orders

Negotiation skills for vendor pricing and contract terms

Knowledgeable in contracts, contract processes, and modifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in Word (templates and modifications), Jira (Confluence), DocuSign, and Avid (purchase order system)

Must have good social and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and adhere to guidelines without external pressure

No overtime required


Position Description:

Analyze, comment on, and execute tenders, contracts, and related documents, offering proactive advice

Draft and complete standard contract templates (MSA/quote/SOW, etc.) based on spend type, application, and engagement details, adhering to local and global guidelines and regulations

Coordinate contract term negotiations among stakeholders, vendors, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams

Support legal, compliance, and cybersecurity processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external guidelines and regulations

Participate in contract negotiations and contribute to the negotiation strategy’s formulation and implementation

Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations

Contribute to the standardization of contracts and process improvements

Follow local signature guidelines and route contracts for signatures

Generate purchase orders in the Avid system


Impacts:

Apply professional knowledge in contract management, procurement, technology, economics, or science to various situations

Resolve non-routine tasks, contribute to projects or assignments, and support the development of guidelines, methods, tools, or business processes


Key Responsibilities:
