Mid-Level Technical Sales Representative

Location: Chicago Western Suburbs

Job Overview:

Join a Fortune 100 company as a Technical Sales Representative, responsible for finding new clients and building strategic partnerships with SMBs in the Chicagoland and Northern IL area. This role focuses on identifying potential business opportunities and aligning them with our Infrastructure and Managed Services offerings. You’ll drive new business by prospecting, conducting discovery meetings, and closing deals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach: Research and engage with high-value prospects, conduct cold outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone, and attend targeted networking events.
  • Qualification & Discovery: Lead meetings to assess potential clients' needs and align them with our service offerings. Provide feedback on lead quality.
  • Proposals & Closing: Build and present custom proposals, negotiate deals, and secure commitments.


Year 1 Goals:

  • 10 new business wins
  • $3,500 monthly recurring revenue
  • 28 proposals delivered

Year 2 Goals:

  • 19 new business wins
  • $3,500 monthly recurring revenue
  • 52 proposals delivered

Required Experience:

  • Proven sales success in selling to C-suite and closing complex service deals
  • 3-5 years of IT industry knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
