Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking Mechanical Design System Engineers & Controls Engineers to join the sort center team. They will be responsible for designing material handling equipment within the sort center such as conveyor belts and other machinery. This person will be given specific requirements from the facility on what they need accomplished, will be responsible for designing the solution. Can be anything from adding capacity to the site, retrofitting areas for new equipment or helping to rearrange existing equipment within the facility. This person will be responsible for figuring out layouts of the site and do scope of work for the project. Additionally, this person will be Writing RFPs, working with vendors for site selection and working on engineering design and hand off to execution. Up to 50% travel required to go to sites. (75% travel for controls focused engineers)
