Position Overview:


We are seeking an IRA Compliance Coordinator to ensure our projects comply with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) requirements, including Apprenticeship Reporting and Prevailing Wages. This role involves managing compliance, conducting audits, preparing reports, and collaborating with the compliance team, subcontractors, and site teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple projects in meeting Apprenticeship and Prevailing Wage compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure accurate implementation of IRA policies according to NARENCO's guidelines.
  • Monitor and review certified payroll for subcontractors.
  • Verify payroll records, benefit statements, and apprenticeship paperwork for compliance.
  • Participate in third-party and government audits and inquiries.
  • Maintain tracking and reporting spreadsheets for each project.
  • Obtain accurate payroll and apprenticeship records from subcontractors.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Audit subcontractor payroll for accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation to support audits.
  • Correct any inaccuracies found during payroll or apprenticeship record audits.
  • Track apprentice progress using the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System (RAPIDS).
  • Report audit information to subcontractors, site leaders, or clients as requested.
  • Stay informed on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management or coordination roles.
  • 1-3 years experience in prevailing wage enforcement and auditing.
  • Knowledge of employment practices in the construction industry and state labor regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of data warehouse software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.
