Title: Technical Writer

Employment Type: 6M Contract-to-Hire

Location: Onsite in Milford, OH

Salary: Up to 47/hr


JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and set up documentation processes from scratch, transitioning from informal to formal technical documentation.

• Document the setup and operation of 3D printers (M2 and F1), post-processing, and machining processes.

• Create detailed documentation for the assembly of engines, including multiple sub-assembly and master assembly processes.

• Capture and formalize technical processes currently documented through photographs into comprehensive technical documents.

• Ensure high attention to detail and ownership of all work products.

• Operate comfortably in a hands-on, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to new technical content.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Familiarity and experience with manufacturing process documentation best practices.

• Exposure to highly technical fields such as aerospace, highly engineered components, or electronics is preferred.

• Ability to quickly come up to speed on technical content and simplify it for operator instructions.

• High attention to detail and ownership of work product.

• Comfort operating in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe.

• Experience with SharePoint and DropBox for document management.
