My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business growth and increase revenue. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Marketing, knowledge of catering, Food & Beverage. Salary: $70,000 + Bonus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly revenue goals by following booking guidelines and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Merchandise guest rooms and function space to maximize revenue potential and enhance the guest experience.
  • Actively solicit new key accounts and generate direct sales to attract new clients and groups.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure group bookings during peak periods and special events.
  • Participate in sales trips targeting specific areas and groups within the market to expand clientele.
  • Solicit accounts within assigned market segment and maintain aggressive sales goals.
  • Achieve budgeted room nights, rates, and revenues to meet financial targets.
  • Develop and implement sales action plans to drive revenue growth and maintain competitiveness.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed by the Director of Sales.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required reports and documentation.
  • Promote high visibility of the hotel through active involvement in industry associations, trade shows, and community events.
  • Attend property and departmental meetings to stay informed and contribute to strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles, with at least [insert number] years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
