Job Description:

GSE is looking for an organized, forward-thinking and self-motivated individual to become part of the GSE Team.

This person will oversee select client sports and venue partnerships across NFL, NBA, NHL, & MLB. They will possess strong leadership skills and be able to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be extremely driven, detail-focused, highly professional, and can effectively communicate with clients and partners.

This position offers the opportunity to activate sports partnerships through omnichannel marketing, including digital, PR, social media, content production and experiential.


Primary Responsibilities:

The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Work closely with client representatives and sponsored teams/venues to optimize sponsorships to drive business objectives and support sports strategy
  • Create and maintain an annual plan for utilization of sports sponsorship assets for programming and activation to bring client’s sports strategy to life
  • Lead sponsorship activation pre-event planning to event day executions through to post-event recapping/reporting
  • Communicate professionally and positively as a representative of GSE and clients to stakeholders, customers, and team representatives
  • Track information and records on use of all existing sports sponsorship assets and evaluate business effectiveness
  • Provide client with scheduled updates on all activities to sports sponsorship programming and activities
  • Deliver ongoing research and relevant news updates related to sponsored teams throughout the year
  • Track and manage invoicing processes on behalf of the clients
  • Manage measurement tools to track the ROI of client’s investments
  • Organize and participate in weekly or bi-weekly status calls with client
  • Management and support of ticket and asset management system
  • Manage all contractual suite food and beverage orders for games and events

·        Deliver periodic ticket tracking reports and complete any specific reports as requested

·        Contribute to performance of the overall GSE team, ensuring quality work, effective processes and that client requests are handled in timely and strategic manner


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum one (1) year related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Detailed orientated, with the ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
  • A positive and helpful attitude
