Deployment and Desktop Support Technician

DataStaff, Inc is in need of a Deployment and Desktop Support Technician for a long-term contract opportunity for one of our direct clients in Charlotte, NC.


*This position is onsite


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the refresh of hardware (laptops & desktops, peripherals, etc.) to bring equipment current with county hardware standards and security policies.
  • Will be directly responsible for reimaging existing laptops and desktops, as well as deploying new laptops and desktops (and accompanying peripherals) at multiple locations.


Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Able to work without assistance
  • Can provide limited leadership to others
  • Able to manage medium complexity work efforts
  • May have industry experience.


Required Skills:

  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds regularly.
  • 2 Years - Large scale deployments of 500+ machines preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and move around in classroom style setting daily.
  • 2 Years - Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN client, Microsoft Office suite, and Windows 10.
