The Position

A Public Sector Services Attorney at Teague Campbell will work closely with a diversified client base within local government, focusing on various areas of law that help people in the community. PSS work includes a breadth of services in connection with governance and board consultation, as well as handling litigated matters. Representative services include drafting ordinances and contracts, Request For Proposals, training and educating local government employees, working with law enforcement agencies and emergency services, public records request compliance, elections law, code enforcement, land use, planning and zoning services, and quasi-judicial hearings.


The Ideal Candidate

·        Is a North Carolina licensed litigator with a minimum of 1-2 years local government experience.

·        Must be very detail oriented with strong research and writing skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills are also required.

·        Has the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines, work independently and within a team environment.

Attorneys have the flexibility to be in the office or work remotely from the comfort of their own home in light of our up-to-date billing and documentation management software. While our support staff also works in a hybrid environment, the office is staffed at all times to ensure seamless administrative assistance.
