Are you seeking the opportunity to challenge yourself on a range of transportation projects and work on some of the most complex and diverse projects in the region?


Responsibilities:

  • Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and MassDOT, NHDOT, RIDOT, CTDOT, MDOT, or VTrans specifications and CAD Standards using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Develop and manage design plans, calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Prepare engineering reports and technical documents, including design memoranda and Design Justification Workbooks.
  • Conduct field investigations and provide support during the construction phase.
  • Communicate and present project designs to clients, agencies, and the public.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of project tasks within the context of the overall project schedule, budget, and available resources.


Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead or assist in leading a team through all stages of project document development.
  • Strong collaboration skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent time management.
  • Capable of providing a comprehensive approach to tackling challenges and solving problems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in MA, NH, RI, CT, ME, or VT
  • Minimum of 6 years in Civil Engineering design.
