FIRST SHIFT

Pay Rate:$30.71/hr on W2


JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Site Controller, this role is responsible for providing financial oversite and assistance to local, regional, and global business partners. General accounting is required for closing, controls, intercompany, & local PA sales tax.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Site controller in all financial processes and reporting.

• Finance Business partner to Cost Center managers for Budget prep, forecasting & variance analysis.

• Performs Month End SAP system closing.

• Assist in annual product costing process (SPC)

• Problem solves site AP P2P Processes issues.

• Maintains Fixed Asset ledger – closing AUC projects

• Works with local, regional, global Vx colleagues on reporting, problem solving and new projects

• Assist in annual plan preparations.

• Intercompany & General accounting transactions

• Performs local review of financial data to ensure completeness and compliance


MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree required preferably in Business or Accounting. 3 -5 years finance/accounting manufacturing experience. CPA preferred but not required. Accounting principles are used daily. Marietta and the RDC are part of the Vaccines international business unit and knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and SAP is preferred


MINIMUM LEVEL OF JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years in a MFG environment

• Budgeting, Fixed Asset, Cost and General Ledger Accounting

• Working knowledge of SAP or applicable ERP systems

• Strong Microsoft Office Skills

• Accounts Payable

• A broad working knowledge of several accounting disciplines is required to interface with all groups.


OTHER JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with and influence others without direct reporting relationships.

• Excellent analytical skills. Attention to detail is a key skill for this position

• Demonstrate a high level of ethics and integrity, exercising professional judgment in accounting for financial transactions to ensure financial reports fairly present the results of operations
