Inside Sales Representative

We have an immediate open an Inside Sales Specialist. Our client is a leading supplier of water control systems for commercial building applications. The company was founded in 2003 and served the Greater Houston area ever since. They have a great company culture that is family focused and allows for good career advancement.
This is a work onsite role located in Northwest Houston (Jersey Village area). Hours are 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Top Responsibilities
- Create Quotes for Standard Products and provide documentation
- Create Quotes for Custom Products (Create BOM and List Price, Diagrams/Drawings) Create Final Quote Folder for Release
- Create / Maintain Documentation for Panels (Submittals, Specs, Sales Sheets, Drawings)
- Above all, always provide excellent customer service
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Understand products offered
- Prepare quotes, sales orders, and data sheets
- Follow Up on outstanding quotes and maintain open quote log in NetSuite
- Support Outside Sales team
- Identify & Route qualified opportunities to VP of Sales for further development and closure
- Build positive relationships with customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Technical understanding of product offerings
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Knowledge of NetSuite
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong phone presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2-4 Years’ Experience with Plumbing Systems in Commercial Settings
• Proven Inside Sales Experience
