Responsibilities:
- Content custodian: Content Planning/Management, content SEO, business stakeholder management to create best-in-class industry content. Writing engaging high-quality content with consistency for websites, portals, brochures, social media etc.
- Experience and expertise in leveraging GenAI and tools and prompt engineering to assist in content creation
- Adaptability to various styles, regions and versions of content
- Openness to feedback and revisions
- Belief in researching towards good content – competition, industry experts etc.
- A good understanding of SEO - knowledge of keywords, meta tags, SEO and basic writing terminologies
- Time management. Ability to meet stringent deadlines
- Multitasking on content projects
- Staying in demand – and being updated with the latest in the field
- Editing, editing and more editing
- Conversant with communication on and posting on social media
Requirements
Writing Portfolio Required:
- 1 x Blog (informative)
- 1 x Blog (entertaining); OR just one blog that is both informative and entertaining.
- 1 x Factual Piece (e.g. a Report, Thesis, or News Article)
- Examples of Social Media Posts
- Examples of formal emails
- 1 x Marketing collateral piece (e.g. presentation deck, brochure, whitepaper, case study)
Essential Skills/ Domain Knowledge
- Absolute fluency in American English and ability to modify language to British audiences (Queen’s English)
- Excellent researcher - ability to identify common reputable research sources in tech (e.g. McKinsey, Deloitte, Gartner, Bloomberg, Accenture etc).
- Critical Thinking Skills
- Experience in the B2B technology industry and working with common jargon
- Evidence of creative writing flare (e.g. using original metaphors to illustrate a key theme, creating a compelling narrative)
- Understanding of how chosen audiences affect writing style and content
